Pennsylvania Department of Education Standards Aligned System (SAS)

Created by PLS 3rd Learning in partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Education in 2009, the Pennsylvania Department of Education Standards Aligned System, or SAS, is a custom curriculum management portal whose content is aligned to Pennsylvania’s Academic Standards as well as the Pennsylvania Common Core. A collaborative product of research and best practices, its key features include:

An assessment creator, featuring previous Keystone Exam content.

Online professional development opportunities aligned to the Commonwealth’s vision for effective instruction.

Materials and Resources Database

A Materials and Resources database, searchable by keyword, subject area, and by grade level, featuring over 100 Pennsylvania Common Core-aligned sample curriculum maps, as well as learning progressions, units, lesson plans, and content resources aligned to state standards.
