PLS 3rd Learning and ECIS Present the ECIS Academy for International Educators
Buffalo, New York — PLS 3rd Learning has partnered with the European Council of International Schools (ECIS) to deliver online, innovative professional development opportunities to international educators worldwide. The ECIS Academy for International Educators contextualizes professional development by implementing self-paced modules, personalizing PD plans, and focusing on the application of theory in everyday teaching and learning practices.
“This partnership fortifies our international presence in education,” said Donald Jacobs, PhD, CEO of PLS 3rd Learning. “The opportunity to offer our unique professional development programs through ECIS significantly improves our position to effect positive changes in education in schools we work with across the world.”
Committed to advancing education in international school communities, the ECIS Academy offers a series of micro-credential programs—which are comprised of online courses and modules—to serve teachers and school leaders across the world. Additionally, the ECIS Academy delivers web tools that teachers and administrators can use to customize professional development plans for themselves and their schools.
“We are very pleased to be partnering with PLS 3rd Learning on this important initiative,” said Kevin J. Ruth, ED of ECIS. “The partnership gives us the opportunity to further inspire and influence teachers and learners on a global scale.”
The ECIS Academy is specifically geared towards educators who wish to enhance their effectiveness, incorporate blended and online learning environments, or earn credentials that demonstrate excellence in current pedagogies.
